Most personal sites keep their projects in a grid: a thumbnail, two lines of copy, a row of framework logos, a contact form at the bottom. The format is fine for getting hired. It is terrible at holding what actually happens when you build something — the dead ends, the rewrites, the small decisions that quietly decide everything downstream.
This page is the alternative. Each entry here is the full story of one thing built on this site or around it, written the way a good video essay is edited: a beginning, a middle, an honest ending. Fewer entries, longer stories. A publication that happens to belong to one person, rather than a person advertising themselves.
What belongs here
Two kinds of entries share the feed. Builds are the long ones — the complete write-up of a project from first commit to whatever it became. Updates are shorter notes when something already written about moves: a feature ships, a design changes, a lesson gets revised. The tabs above the feed filter between them.
Why it looks like this
The rest of the site is dark where it should be dark — photographs live on a near-black ground. Reading is different. Long text wants paper, so this section stays light on purpose: a faintly tinted page, ink that stops short of pure black, and one readable column with nothing beside it.
There is no comment box, no newsletter modal, no related-content engine. If a write-up is worth your time, it has to earn it the old way.
