ena.is is a personal website operated by a single individual. This page describes, in plain terms, how it handles data.

What is collected

Account information you provide (such as your email address and profile details) and the content you create or connect while using the site's features. Data connected from third-party services — including email accounts you choose to link — is accessed only to provide the feature you connected it for.

How it is used

Solely to operate the site and its features for you. Your data is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising. Connected mailbox content is displayed to you and is not used for any other purpose.

Google user data

If you connect a Google account (for example, a Gmail mailbox), ena.is accesses your Gmail data over IMAP using the permission you grant on Google's consent screen. It uses that data for exactly one purpose: showing and managing your mail to you inside the site's mail feature — reading messages, searching them, and applying the actions you take (mark read, star, archive, move, delete). It stores message headers and message bodies in the site's database so your mailbox loads quickly and is searchable; attachments are not stored, and your Google credentials are held only as an encrypted OAuth token. It shares this data with no one: no third parties, no advertising, no analytics, no AI training. No human other than you reads it. Disconnecting the account deletes all of its stored data.

ena.is's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How it is protected

Credentials and access tokens are stored encrypted at rest. Connections to mail providers use TLS. Access to your data requires your authenticated session.

Your choices

You can disconnect a linked account or delete your data at any time from the site's settings. Removing a connected mailbox deletes its locally stored data.
